Euphony SUMMUS II Music Server with I2S and Coax digital outputs

This is a custom very high quality integrated I2S (PS Audio pin out standard) and Coax implementation.

Introducing the Euphony SUMMUS music server. It combines a very high quality silent fanless PC with the highly optimized Euphony operating system and software*. The case is all aluminum to dissipate heat from the AMD processor and 16gb of dual channel memory ensures there is no latency when each song is fully loaded into RAM before playback.

This is a complete system ready to use out of the box. No monitor, mouse or keyboard is needed. You can access the user interface with any computer or mobile device on your network. Your player options include Stylus (default), HQplayer, SqueezeLite, and Roon. Web radio, Tital, & Qobuz are also included.

This system can be used as a compete stand alone Roon server and player. Just plug in your USB DAC, network cable , and start enjoying the finest computer audio quality with a simple easy to navigate user interface.

You can choose from several different size SSD drives to meet your storage requirements and add additional internal music storage or use an external USB 3.0 drive or setup a network share from a NAS on your network. No matter which option(s) you choose you will have one unified music library!

SUMMUS Playback Mode

Obtaining high end audio playback by using Intel i7 CPU, whose lightning performance is achieved by earsplitting 4.5 billion internal clock ticks each second, is not an easy task. This is why we developed Summus Playback Mode – a software that goes beyond and restrains hardware imperfections. Activation of Stylus audio player automatically assigns transport of music files to separate CPU cores and turns down high-powered and noisy i7 platform into completely silent audio transport.

Furthermore, Euphony Summus is booted by default into so called “ramroot” mode (widely embraced by audiophiles worldwide as the best for computer audio), allowing all system files to operate from RAM. Total absence of disk activities combined with near noise free CPU, makes Summus music server a dream come true for computer audiophiles

DUAL PC Setup

Moving very popular Roon library manager to second PC, connected to Summus music server via network cable, enables Roon`s power demanding browsing of music library on one computer and completely silent audio transport on another. Both luxurious library management and superb sound reproduction via Summus Playback Mode can be thus obtained.
